Coconut Ladoo / Nariyal Ke Ladoo

A quick, easy to make and scrumptious Indian sweet, with the goodness of fresh coconut.

Preparation Time: 10 minutes

Cooking Time: 15 minutes

Makes- 12 medium sized

Ingredients and Quantity:

Condensed milk, sweetened- 200 gm.

Fresh Coconut- grated- 2 ½ cups

Almond, coarsely ground- 1/4th tbsp.

Pistachio nuts , slivered- 02 tsp. (Optional)

Desiccated coconut, for rolling the ladoos- as required

Method:

In a heavy bottomed pan, add the grated coconut on a slow flame, once a little warm add the condensed milk.

Let it cook , stirring it until it leaves the sides of the pan. Usually takes only 05 minutes to cook. Add coarsely ground Almonds.

Switch off the flame.

Remove on a clean SS working table. Let it cool.

With palms lightly oiled, roll into ladoos.

Now roll each ladoo in desiccated coconut.

Chef Tips:

You may garnish it with edible rose petals, if desired.
