It is a mind-boggling summer drink from #bihar ,prepared with roasted gram powder, chilled water, and other ingredients like finely chopped onion, mint leaves, coriander leaves, green chillies, spice powders & freshly squeezed lemon.

Serves: 4
Ingredients and Quantity:
Roasted Gram Flour (Sattu Ka Atta) (Chana Sattu)-6 tbsp.
Mint Leaves, finely chopped-2 sprigs
Fresh Coriander Leaves, finely chopped-2 tbsp.
Green Chillies, deseeded& finely chopped-2 / or more as desired
Onion, finely chopped-4 tbsp.
Freshly squeezed lemon juice-2 tbsp.
Cumin powder-1 tsp.
Rock salt-1 tsp.
Salt- to taste
Chilled water- 4 1/2 cups
Method:
In a clean large glass bowl, add the sattu ka atta. To this, add rest of the ingredients including mentioned above to Salt.
Now add chilled water & mix with a Hand-held Wooden Churner (Madhani) or whisk.
Churn / Whisk until the drink is smooth and without any lumps.
Pour it into Glasses / Kulhad.
Serve chilled
Chef Tips:
You may add puree of mint leaves instead of chopped mint leaves, to further enhance the flavour of the sharbat.
You may add peeled and grated raw mango , if desired.
You may add ice cubes, if desired
