Adored by all this is a dish is simply irresistible , it is prepared with crumbled Cottage cheese , Onion, Tomatoes and Ginger garlic paste and Indian spices and is served garnished with chopped fresh coriander leaves. Usually eaten with freshly made Indian Breads as breakfast or may be consumed in Lunch or Dinner.

Ingredients and Quantity:
Cottage Cheese (Paneer), crumbled / grated- 250 gm.
Green peas, boiled- ½ cup (Optional)
Onion, finely chopped- 01 no.
Green chillies, chopped- 02 nos.
Ginger- 1 inch piece
Garlic- 08 cloves
Tomato , finely chopped – ½ cup
Red chilli powder- ½ tsp.
Turmeric powder- 1/4th tsp.
Coriander powder- ½ tsp.
Salt- to taste
Cumin seeds- ½ tsp.
Refined Oil- 01 tbsp.
For the Garnish:
Fresh coriander leaves, chopped- 01 tbsp.
Method:
Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Add the cumin seeds, let them splutter / crackle, add the chopped onion, let it cook till translucent. Add the ginger garlic paste, sauté well till the raw aroma disappears. Add the green chillies.
Add salt ,red chilli powder, turmeric powder and coriander powder. Mix well.
Cook for ½ a minute.
Add chopped tomatoes. Let them cook on a medium flame for 05 minutes. Once the oil oozes out to the edges of the pan.
Add the crumbled / grated cottage cheese. Cook for a minute. Add the boiled green peas. Cook for a minute. Sprinkle garam masala powder.
Serve hot garnished with chopped coriander leaves.
Chef Tips:
- Do not cook cottage cheese for a long time as it tends to become hard and very chewy.
