Gulab aur Gulkand ki Lassi

A refreshing and fragrant coolant drink prepared by blending yogurt, rose syrup, gulkand and rose petals.

Preparation Time: 10 minutes

Chilling Time: 30 minutes

Serves: 4

Ingredients and quantity:

Yogurt, chilled- 2 ½ cups

Rose Syrup-02 tbsp.

Gulkand- ½  tbsp.

Sugar-1 ½ tbsp. / as desired.

Rose Water-1/2 tbsp.

Chilled milk, full-fat- 01 cups

Ice cubes- 12 nos.

Rose petals, dried- 12 nos.

For the Garnish:

Rose petals, dried- 02 tsp.

Method:

  1. Blend all the ingredients except the garnish.
  2. Blend till the lassi is smooth and frothy.
  3. Chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
  4. Pour into earthenware glasses. Serve Chilled.

Chef Tips:

  1. You may increase or decrease the quantity of sugar as desired.
  2. You may garnish with slivered almonds and pistachio nuts.
  3. You may serve by topping it with a layer of fresh cream / malai.
