Green Apple Mojito

Scorching summers? Prepare this refreshing mojito with the subtle flavor of green apples, fresh mint, cucumber and White Rum.

Ingredients and Quantity:

Apple, green- 02 nos. large

Mint leaves, fresh- 12 leaves

Cucumber slices- 04 nos.

Ice cubes- 02 cups

Ice crushed-02 cups

Apple juice, green apple- 01 cup

White rum- 160 ml

Lime juice, fresh- 04 tsp.

Sugar syrup, clarified- 75 ml / or more as desired

For the Garnish:

Mint leaves, fresh- 08 nos.

Lime slices- 04 nos.

Method:

  1. Puree green apple , mint leaves and cucumber slices in a food processer.
  2. In a cocktail shaker combine apple puree, white rum, ice, lime juice, apple juice and syrup.
  3. Shake and strain into a glass.
  4. Serve chilled garnished with fresh mint leaves and a slice of lime.

Chef Tips:

  1. You may use green apple syrup instead of fresh green apple puree, but I personally suggest fresh apples.
  2. You may add Club soda also.
