(Optional)<\/p>\n<p>Ginger, garlic and green chilli paste- 01 tsp.<\/p>\n<p>Salt- to taste<\/p>\n<p>Sugar- 01 tsp. (Optional)<\/p>\n<p>Turmeric powder- 1\/4<sup>th<\/sup> tsp<\/p>\n<p>Red chilli powder- \u00bd tsp.<\/p>\n<p>Coriander powder- \u00bd tsp. (optional)<\/p>\n<p>Garam masala powder- \u00bd tsp.<\/p>\n<p>Cumin lightly roasted and freshly ground &#8211; 1\/4<sup>th<\/sup> tsp.<\/p>\n<p>Refined Oil- 01 tbsp.<\/p>\n<p>Peanuts, roasted, peeled and coarsely ground- 1\/4<sup>th<\/sup> cup<\/p>\n<p>White Sesame seeds, lightly toasted and coarsely ground- 01 tbsp.<\/p>\n<p>Asafoetida- a pinch<\/p>\n<p>Refined Oil to line the plate \/ tray and apply to palms &#8211; \u00bd tbsp.<\/p>\n<p><strong>For Steaming:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Water: 02 cups<\/p>\n<p><strong>For Frying:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Refined Oil- as required to deep fry \/ shallow fry<\/p>\n<p><strong>To remove excess of oil:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Kitchen absorbent paper- 04 nos.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Method:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Take a glass bowl add Bengal Gram Flour (Besan) to it add water little by little to make it lump free, add rice flour. Mix well. Batter should be of dropping consistency and free from any lumps.<\/p>\n<p>Add finely chopped coriander leaves, ginger, garlic and green chilli paste. Add red chilli , turmeric, garam masala, cumin powders. Mix.<\/p>\n<p>Add lemon juice (Optional), salt, Sugar (Optional), oil, ground peanut and sesame. Add Asafoetida and mix well.<\/p>\n<p>Pour two cups of water in a steamer, close with the lid and let it come to a boil. Simmer once it boils.<\/p>\n<p>Line a steel thali with oil and pour the prepared mixture, ensuring that it is spread evenly.<\/p>\n<p>Place the thali in the steamer stand and then the entire stand in the steamer. Close the steamer with the lid.
