minutes<\/p>\n<p><strong>Serves: 02<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Ingredients and Quantity:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Indian Plum- 06 nos. big<\/p>\n<p>Bourbon- 1\/4th cup<\/p>\n<p>Butter, unsalted- 2 tbsp.<\/p>\n<p>Light brown sugar- 2 tbsp- \u00bd tsp.<\/p>\n<p>Sea Salt- a pinch<\/p>\n<p>Cinnamon powder- 1\/4<sup>th<\/sup> tsp.<\/p>\n<p>Quinoa, rinsed- 1\/4<sup>th<\/sup> cup<\/p>\n<p>Water- 01 cup<\/p>\n<p>Cherry tomatoes, cut into halves- 04 nos.<\/p>\n<p>Lettuce- 1\/4<sup>th<\/sup> bunch<\/p>\n<p>Walnuts, broken and lightly toasted- 1\/4<sup>th<\/sup> tbsp.<\/p>\n<p>Pepitas, lightly toasted- 02 tsp.<\/p>\n<p><strong>For the Salad Dressing:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Pomegranate juice- 02 tbsp.<\/p>\n<p>Lemon Juice- 1\/2 tbsp.<\/p>\n<p>Organic Honey- 02 tsp.<\/p>\n<p>Olive oil- \u00bd \u00a0tbsp.<\/p>\n<p>Salt- to taste<\/p>\n<p>White Pepper- to taste<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Method:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Slice the Plums into four, discard the stones.<\/p>\n<p>In a non-stick pan , heat the butter over medium flame .<\/p>\n<p>Cook until the foaming stops and the butter turns a little brown.<\/p>\n<p>Add the sugar, stir until it melts, add the plums ,let it coat in the melted sugar.<\/p>\n<p>Remove from the flame and stir in the bourbon , cinnamon powder and sea salt.<\/p>\n<p>In a small saucepan on a low flame, add the quinoa and \u00bd tsp olive oil. saut\u00e9 for a few seconds until the quinoa starts to pop. Add 1 cup of water and a pinch of salt to the saucepan and bring to a boil. Once boiling, reduce the heat to low, and cover. Simmer for 15 minutes, or until all of the water has evaporated and the quinoa is light and fluffy. Set to the side to cool.<\/p>\n<p>In a salad bowl place the lettuce, you may chop it, add the roasted plums, quinoa, cherry tomatoes, broken walnuts, pepitas.
