This Tasty Snack will be a good companion for your evening Tea.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Preparation Time-<\/strong> 10 minutes<\/p>\n<p><strong>Cooking Time-<\/strong> 03-05 minutes<\/p>\n<p><strong>Overnight Soaked-<\/strong> Black Chana<\/p>\n<p><strong>Serves-<\/strong>08 pax.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ingredients and Quantity:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Oats, dry roasted &#8211; 1\/4<sup>th<\/sup> cup<\/p>\n<p>Puffed Rice, dry roasted- 1\/4<sup>th<\/sup> cup<\/p>\n<p>Pressed rice, dry roasted- 1\/4<sup>th<\/sup> cup<\/p>\n<p>Cornflakes, dry roasted- 1\/4<sup>th<\/sup> cup<\/p>\n<p>Puffed Quinoa, dry roasted- 1\/4<sup>th<\/sup> cup<\/p>\n<p>Brown rice Krispies, dry roasted- 1\/4<sup>th<\/sup> tsp.<\/p>\n<p>Roasted Chana dal- \u00bd tbsp.<\/p>\n<p>Peanuts, dry roasted- 1\/4<sup>th<\/sup> tbsp. (Optional)<\/p>\n<p>Black Chana, soaked, pressed and dry roasted-1\/2 tbsp.<\/p>\n<p>Turmeric powder- 1\/4<sup>th<\/sup> tsp.<\/p>\n<p>Asafoetida- a pinch<\/p>\n<p>Extra Virgin Olive oil- 10 ml.<\/p>\n<p>Black cumin- 1\/4<sup>th<\/sup> tsp.<\/p>\n<p>Curry Leaves-01 sprig.<\/p>\n<p>Salt- to taste<\/p>\n<p><strong>Method:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Heat oil in a non-stick pan add olive oil, heat it add asafetida, add cumin seeds, let them crackle, add curry leaves(optional), add turmeric powder ensuring that it does not burn, now add dry roasted oats, puffed rice, pressed rice ,cornflakes, puffed quinoa and brown rice krispes.<\/p>\n<p>Saut\u00e9 for 2-3 minutes.<\/p>\n<p>Add chana dal , peanuts(optional) and black chana.<\/p>\n<p>Add salt to taste.<\/p>\n<p>Mix well.<\/p>\n<p>Let it cool.<\/p>\n<p>Serve.<\/p>\n<p>If not consumed immediately, store in an airthight container.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Chef Tips: <\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>You may replace peanuts with walnuts.<\/li>\n<li>You may add raisins.<\/li>\n<li>If you are dry roasting ingredients from Oats to peanuts, has to be done on a medium flame.
