{"id":6061,"date":"2017-10-07T02:59:19","date_gmt":"2017-10-07T02:59:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/chefreetuudaykugaji.com\/blog\/?p=6061"},"modified":"2022-06-30T07:53:07","modified_gmt":"2022-06-30T02:23:07","slug":"green-peas-upma","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/chefreetuudaykugaji.com\/blog\/2017\/10\/07\/green-peas-upma\/","title":{"rendered":"Green Peas Upma."},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>A healthy breakfast preparation with lightly roasted semolina and green&nbsp;<span class=\"il\">peas<\/span>&nbsp;cooked together and lightly tempered with mustard seeds and curry leaves.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Preparation Time-<\/strong>10 minutes<\/p>\n<p><strong>Cooking Time-<\/strong> 15 minutes<\/p>\n<p><strong>Serves-<\/strong>4<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ingredients and Quantity:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Semolina, lightly dry roasted- 01 cup<\/p>\n<p>Green Peas- 1\/4<sup>th<\/sup> Cup<\/p>\n<p>Onion, finely chopped- 01 large<\/p>\n<p>Green chillies, finely chopped-02 nos.<\/p>\n<p>Hot water- 02 cups<\/p>\n<p><strong>For the tempering:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Extra Virgin Olive oil- 1 \u00bd tbsp.<\/p>\n<p>Mustard Seeds- \u00be th tsp.<\/p>\n<p>Curry leaves- 01 sprig<\/p>\n<p>Ginger, grated- 01 tsp.<\/p>\n<p>Salt- To taste<\/p>\n<p><strong>For the garnish:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Coriander leaves, fresh (Optional)- 2 sprigs<\/p>\n<p>Fresh coconut grated (Optional) &#8211;
