{"id":5236,"date":"2017-09-14T03:32:21","date_gmt":"2017-09-14T03:32:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/chefreetuudaykugaji.com\/blog\/?p=5236"},"modified":"2017-11-22T05:55:29","modified_gmt":"2017-11-22T05:55:29","slug":"paneer-peas-masala","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/chefreetuudaykugaji.com\/blog\/2017\/09\/14\/paneer-peas-masala\/","title":{"rendered":"Paneer Peas Masala"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Stir Fried Cottage Cheese with green peas and Indian spices in delectable creamy cashew nut and Saffron gravy.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Preparation Time: 15 minutes<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Cooking Time: 25 minutes<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Serves: 04<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Course: Main \u2013Vegetarian <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Ingredients and Quantity:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Paneer, cut into cubes &#8211; 250gm.<\/p>\n<p>Green Peas, boiled- 125 gm.<\/p>\n<p>Extra Virgin Olive Oil \u2013 01 tbsp.<\/p>\n<p>Shahi Jeera- \u00bc th tsp.<\/p>\n<p><strong>For the gravy:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Butter \/ Extra Virgin Olive Oil &#8211; 01 tbsp.<\/p>\n<p>Cashew nuts \u2013 60 gm.<\/p>\n<p>Boiled Onion paste\u2013 \u00bd cup<\/p>\n<p>Green Chilli , chopped \u2013 01 no.<\/p>\n<p>Ginger Paste- 01 tsp.<\/p>\n<p>Garlic Paste \u2013 1 tsp.<\/p>\n<p>Tomato puree \u2013 \u00bd cup<\/p>\n<p>Salt \u2013 To taste<\/p>\n<p>Kashmiri Powder &#8211; 01 tsp.<\/p>\n<p>Turmeric powder \u2013 \u00bc th tsp<\/p>\n<p>Coriander powder \u2013 01 tsp.<\/p>\n<p>Cumin Powder \u2013 \u00bd tsp.<\/p>\n<p>Kasoori Methi, broiled and crushed \u2013 \u00bd tsp.<\/p>\n<p>Water \u2013 as required<\/p>\n<p>Fresh Cream- 01 tbsp.<\/p>\n<p>Saffron, broiled- 01 gm.<\/p>\n<p><strong>For the Garnish:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Fresh Coriander leaves, finely chopped \u2013 1\/4<sup>th<\/sup> Bunch<\/p>\n<p><strong>Method:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In a heavy bottomed pan, add butter \/ olive oil, stir fry the paneer cubes, each side till they become crispy and light golden in colour. Keep in salted lukewarm water.<\/p>\n<p>Pour Olive oil in a pan, add the cashew nuts and saut\u00e9 till it is light golden in colour. Add the boiled onions paste and chopped green chillies and saut\u00e9 till they become translucent. Add the ginger and garlic paste, cook till the raw aroma disappears. Add the tomatoes puree, cook till the oil oozes out. Add salt to taste.<\/p>\n<p>Allow this to cool. Blend all the ingredients into a smooth creamy paste.<\/p>\n<p>Heat butter add the shahi jeera let it crackle, add the blended paste and stir.<\/p>\n<p>Add the Kashmiri chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder and cumin powder.<\/p>\n<p>Stir well &amp; saut\u00e9 till the masala cooks well, add the water and mix well. Saut\u00e9 till the butter \/ oil oozes out.<\/p>\n<p>Add the boiled green peas, broiled Kasoori Methi, broiled saffron, \u00a0fresh cream, water and simmer for 02 minutes. Adjust salt and consistency if required.
