{"id":5222,"date":"2017-11-07T02:57:49","date_gmt":"2017-11-07T02:57:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/chefreetuudaykugaji.com\/blog\/?p=5222"},"modified":"2017-11-22T15:35:53","modified_gmt":"2017-11-22T15:35:53","slug":"mushroom-cappuccino","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/chefreetuudaykugaji.com\/blog\/2017\/11\/07\/mushroom-cappuccino\/","title":{"rendered":"Mushroom Cappuccino"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>A scrumptious mushroom soup with vegetable stock flavoured with garlic, sprinkled with cinnamon powder\u2026\u2026..<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>A treat for the health and fitness loversssss!!!!!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Course:\u00a0<\/strong>Soup<\/p>\n<p><strong>Preparation Time:<\/strong> 10 minutes.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Cooking Time:<\/strong> 10-12 minutes<\/p>\n<p><strong>Serves:<\/strong> 04 .<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ingredients and Quantity:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Butter- 15 gm.<\/p>\n<p>Extra virgin olive oil- 2 \u00bc th tbsp.<\/p>\n<p>Mixed Mushroom, sliced: 500 gm.<\/p>\n<p>Garlic cloves, finely chopped- 03 nos.<\/p>\n<p>Celery, chopped- 01stem.<\/p>\n<p>Bay leaf- 02 nos.<\/p>\n<p>Vegetable stock: 200 ml. + 25ml. to adjust consistency.<\/p>\n<p>Nutmeg, grated-a pinch.<\/p>\n<p>Salt- To taste<\/p>\n<p>White pepper powder- 1\/4<sup>th<\/sup> tsp. \/ to taste.<\/p>\n<p><strong>For Garnishing:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Cinnamon powder- \u00bd tsp.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Method:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Heat the butter and oil together in a non-stick sauce pan.<\/p>\n<p>Cook the mushrooms, garlic and celery for three minutes. Add bay leaf.<\/p>\n<p>Add the stock and cook for five to eight minutes.<\/p>\n<p>Remove the bay leaf and make puree of the cooked mushrooms.<\/p>\n<p>Add the remaining vegetable stock to it to adjust consistency.<\/p>\n<p>Return to heat and bring it to a boil.<\/p>\n<p>Finish by adding the nutmeg powder and season with salt and white pepper powder.<\/p>\n<p>Blend it until frothy by using a hand blender<\/p>\n<p><strong>For Serving:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Serve in a cappuccino cup, sprinkled a little cinnamon powder.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Chefs Tips:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Butter and Extra virgin Olive Oil is heated together, to prevent the butter from burning.<\/li>\n<li>You may first pour the mushroom cappuccino, and then blend \u00bd soup, nutmeg powder and make a froth and top it. Then sprinkle with cinnamon powder.<\/li>\n<li>You may also use chilled milk to make the froth i.e. in a chilled bowl take the 1 \u00bd chilled milk and beat it with a fork.
