{"id":5199,"date":"2017-10-11T14:56:05","date_gmt":"2017-10-11T14:56:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/chefreetuudaykugaji.com\/blog\/?p=5199"},"modified":"2017-11-22T05:08:31","modified_gmt":"2017-11-22T05:08:31","slug":"lahsoon-chutney-dry","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/chefreetuudaykugaji.com\/blog\/2017\/10\/11\/lahsoon-chutney-dry\/","title":{"rendered":"Lahsoon Chutney (Dry)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>A combination of pungent garlic and dried coconut, spiced up with a generous dose of red chilli powder.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Preparation Time:<\/strong>\u00a010 mins<\/p>\n<p><strong>Cooking Time:<\/strong>\u00a002 mins<\/p>\n<p><strong>Serves:<\/strong>\u00a008.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Cuisine:<\/strong>\u00a0Maharashtrian<\/p>\n<p><strong>Course:<\/strong>\u00a0Chutneys\/ Accompaniments<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ingredients and Quantity:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Garlic, roughly chopped- 125 gm.<br \/>\nOil- 02 tsp.<br \/>\nDried Coconut, grated- 125 gm.<br \/>\nRed chilli Powder \u2013 30 gm. or as required.<br \/>\nSalt \u2013 To taste<\/p>\n<p><strong>Method:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Heat the oil in a heavy bottomed non-stick pan, add the garlic and saut\u00e9 on a medium flame for 02 minute.<\/li>\n<li>Switch off the flame, add the dried grated coconut and mix well.<\/li>\n<li>Transfer the mixture into a plate and allow it to cool completely. Once cooled, grind into a coarse powder along with the red chilli powder and salt.<\/li>\n<li>Store in an air-tight container. Use as required.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Chef Tips:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>You may use broiled whole red chillies of a spicer variety- 04 nos. with seeds if you want the chutney to be very spicy or deseeded if you want the chutney to be lesser spicy.
