225 gm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Full-cream milk &#8211; 8 Cups<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sugar \u2013 3\/4<sup>th<\/sup> &nbsp;Cup \/ more if desired<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Green Cardamom Powder- 1\/4 th tsp.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>For the kheer and it&#8217;s garnish:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Clarified Butter (Desi Ghee)- 1 1\/2 tbsp.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cashew Nuts , broken- 8 nos.&nbsp;+ 4 nos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Almonds , slivered &#8211; 8 nos.&nbsp;+ 4 nos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Method:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pick, clean and wash the Black rice thoroughly until the water is clear.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Soak the rice in water for about 8 hours or Overnight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the morning drain and discard the water in which the rice was soaked.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Boil the Milk in a heavy-bottomed pan , add the rice, and mix well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lower the flame.<br>Cook the Black Rice on simmer , stirring it occasionally ,until the rice turns soft i.e.&nbsp;&nbsp;for about 30 to 35 minutes.<br>When the Rice turns soft &amp; is cooked add the Sugar and mix well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Add the green cardamom powder and stir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Let it simmer, until the sugar dissolves entirely and the Kheer reaches the accurate and the desired consistency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Heat the desi ghee in a small non-stick pan , turn the flame to low.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Now add the Cashew Nuts &amp;
