It is a rich and delectable halwa prepared with eggs preferably Organic, Full Cream Milk, Khoya (Khoa) (Mawa) \/ Milk Powder\/ Boiled Cashew nut paste Desi Ghee , is sweetened with sugar, has loads of nuts and raisins, is flavoured with green cardamom powder and is laced with Saffron. A halwa with has a Danedar (Grainy) Texture.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Preparation Time: 5 minutes<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cooking Time: 25 minutes<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Serves:2<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a><\/a>Ingredients and Quantity:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Eggs -2<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Whole Milk-250 ml<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sugar- 2 tbsp. \/ or more , as desired<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Khoya, grated \/ Milk powder\/ Boiled cashew nut smooth and thick paste- 1\/4 th cup<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Saffron- a pinch , steeped in lukewarm milk<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Yellow Food Colour, preferably Natural ,approved by FSSAI &#8211; 1\/4th tsp mixed in milk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Desi Ghee-1 3\/4 th tbsp.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bayleaf -1 ( Optional)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Below mentioned must be saut\u00e9ed in desi ghee<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Almonds, slivered- 8<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Raisins- 8<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cashew nuts- 8<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pistachio nuts, slivered-8 (Optional)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>For the flavouring:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Green cardamom powder-1\/4th tsp<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>For the garnish:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Below mentioned must be saut\u00e9ed in desi ghee<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Almonds, slivered- 4<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Raisins- 4<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cashew nuts- 8<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pistachio nuts, slivered-4. (Optional)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Method:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the jar of a mixer, break eggs, add milk, sugar and grated khoa (khoya) \/ milk powder \/ Boiled cashew nut paste.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Blend till all the ingredients are well-combined.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Heat Ghee in a heavy bottomed kadai, to this add the nuts and raisins , saut\u00e9 and set aside.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the same ghee on a low flame add the blended eggs and other ingredients.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Continuously stir, till it starts thickening.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Add saffron, mix well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Add the yellow colour and mix well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sprinkle the green cardamom powder , the saut\u00e9ed nuts and raisins and mix well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Keep stirring till it attains the texture of a custard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Increase the flame from low to medium and ensure that you keep staring it until it attains a grainy texture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ensure that all the milk is absorbed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Once you see the ghee oozing out from the edges, the halwa is ready to be consumed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Serve hot garnished with saut\u00e9ed nuts and raisins.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Chef Tips:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Stays good for 5 days under refrigeration &amp;
