Puran is the succulent sweet filling and Poli is the Flat bread. Add ghee in a pan and cook until jaggery is dissolved and combines completely with dal i.e. like a soft ball.<\/p>\n<p>Simmer the heat and cook the mixture until it starts to leave the sides of the pan and is gelled nicely.<\/p>\n<p>Add nutmeg powder, dry ginger powder, cardamom powder and saffron.
