Punjabi Onion Laccha (Pyaz Da Laccha)

Thin onion rings with a sprinkle of Red chilli powder, chaat masala, rock salt, salt and fresh cilantro and green chillies.

You will find this amazing accompaniment served with Tandoori Chicken , Paneer Tikkas , Chole, Dal Makhani and various other dishes ,on the roadside Dhabas of Punjab. It’s immensely popular in the North India.

 

Preparation Time: 05 minutes

Serves: 02

Ingredients and Quantity:

Onion Rings, thin- 01 cup

Red Chilli powder- 1/4th tsp.

Chaat Masala- 1/4th tsp.

Green Chillies, slit- 01 no.

Cilantro, finely chopped- 01 tbsp.

Rock Salt- To taste

Salt- to taste

Method 

Combine all the ingredients in a deep glass salad bowl and toss well.

Serve immediately.

Chef Tips:

  • You may add chopped fresh mint leaves to the salad.
